2015 Information
(2016 info to be added at a later date)

Entrance to the Hall:  You can enter the Ball from the main entrance on River Road and from the garage areas.

Table Decorating:  You can decorate your tables before the ball; the hall will open on January 31, 2015 (2016 info to be added later) at 9:30 AM and will close at promptly 4:30 PM.  No one is allowed to enter though the loading dock area.  You can drop off your things in the front then go park in the B-2 Garage.

The tables are 6 feet in diameter (round).  You may bring your ice chest at the time of decorating and store them underneath the table, no Styrofoam or cardboard ice chests allowed.  Please keep in mind there will be no utilities (electricity) available for decorations on your table, plan accordingly.  No stapling into the tables or table clothes.  You will not be allowed to have open flames or helium balloons.  Also keep in mind that you can't use anything that would pose a fire or safety hazard, get creative.

Re-admittance and Smoking:  The River Center is a smoke free building, this also includes ecigarettes.  A designated smoking area will be off of the front foyer on the Government St. side.  There will be re-admittance to the Ball, however there is a No Drinking Ordinance in the city which will be enforced, no drinks will be allowed outside.

Parking:  River Center East parking garage will be open to the public for a fee.  The garage is located at the corner of Government St. and St. Louis St.  Street parking is also available around Beauregard Town.  At this time the West garage is closed; keep a check back here for updated information because it could reopen before the day of the Ball.

B1 and B2 Parking Pass:  Both are in the Parish Government Garage.  This year it will not matter which garage you are in as far as traffic goes because the Krewe of Jupiter Parade is not rolling.

You enter B1 off of St. Louis Street. The entrance is located between the Governmental Building and the Library. This can be reached from either North Blvd. or Government St.  The preferred route to B1 is from North Blvd.

The B2 garage is entered from Government St. at St. Phillip. This is one block west of St. Louis. There is a light at St, Philip and a right turn lane. You turn right between the two buildings and follow your way back to the garage.

In both cases you ride the elevator up to the top floor of the garage and will come out behind the entrance to the hall. You will enter and walk to the front of the building and ride the escalator down into the foyer area.  No one is allowed to enter though the loading dock area.
