The doors will open at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014.   Live music starts at 7:30.  The headlining band, Steve Cropper backed by Louisiana's LeRoux w/ Jimmy Hall of Wet Willie will play from 7:30 PM until 9:30 PM with Chris LeBlanc, the opening band, playing from approximately 10:45 PM until 1:00 AM; yes, that's right,  the opening band will close the show.  Dress will be costume or creative formal put your best ideas to work!

Have catered food and beverages waiting at your table for the 2014 Spanish Town Mardi Gras Ball!  Your order must be placed at least 72 hours before the event.  You can Order Online or print and fax your order using Menu and Order Form.  Don't forget to include the name of the ball, your table number, and the number of guest along with other information asked for.

If you are looking to purchase tickets or have extra tickets you are trying to sell you can post in the forum under this topic to try and find someone else trying to buy or sell.   You can also visit the hall the day of the Ball, there are usually tickets available there that persons who can't attend are trying to sell.

2014 Information

Entrance to the Hall:  The only entrance into the Ball will be the main entrance on River Road.  We will be back in the big hall this year!

Table Decorating:  You can decorate your tables before the ball, the hall will open on January 26, 2013 at 9:30 AM and will close at promptly 4:30 PM.  No one is allowed in the loading dock area without a pass.  You can drop off your things in the front then go park in the B-2 Garage.  The tables are 6 feet in diameter (round).  You may bring your ice chest at the time of decorating and store them underneath the table, no Styrofoam allowed.  Please keep in mind there will be no utilities (electricity) available for decorations on your table, plan accordingly.  No stapling into the tables or table clothes.  You will not be allowed to have open flames or helium balloons.  Also keep in mind that you can't use anything that would pose a fire or safety hazard, get creative.

Re-admittance:  The River Center is a smoke free building.  There will be re-admittance to the Ball so you can go outside to River Road, however there is a No Drinking Ordinance in the city which will be enforced, no drinks will be allowed outside.

Parking:  River Center parking garages will be open to the public for a fee.  The garages are located at the corner of Government St. and St. Louis St.  Street parking is also available around Beauregard Town.

B1 Parking Pass:  From Government St heading west, turn right on St. Louis, continue north past Governmental Building, turn left into parking lot just before the downtown Library.

From Nicholson heading north, continue straight on St. Louis, continue north past Governmental Building, turn left into parking lot just before the downtown Library.

From North Blvd. heading west, turn left on St. Ferdinand (4th St.), continue south to Louisiana Ave., turn right on Louisiana Ave, continue to dead end at St. Louis, turn right on St. Louis, continue north past Governmental Building, turn left into parking lot just before the downtown Library.

B2 Parking Pass:  From Government St heading west, get in left lane when nearing St. Louis St. At St. Louis St., show your B2 parking pass to the police on duty and they will let you pass through the barricade continuing west on Government St. Take a right at the first light which will take you between the River Center and the parking garage, continue ahead to B2 parking.

From Nicholson heading north, stay in left lane when approaching Government St. At the light at Government St., show your B2 parking pass to the police on duty and they will let you pass through the barricade continuing west on Government St. Take a right at the first light which will take you between the River Center and the parking garage, continue ahead to B2 parking.
