Can I add another float and get it?

We are a returning krewe, three years in the mix. I understand that we are assured a spot if we get our fee in by deadline, but I was wondering if that includes adding another float. For instance, we have always done a super, which is what we are assured of if we meet the deadline. But, can I add a second float on my form and get that too?

Your second float would constitute a new krewe and cannot be accepted into the parade at this time. Sometime in mid December, after past parading krewes have decided whether they will parade or not, we'll see if we still have room in the parade for new krewes.
