New Krewes for 2006

The Spanish Town Mardi Gras parade will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25th in 2006. The parade will have a city-parish permit for a certain number of floats (usually 75) for 2006. Krewes deemed acceptable by the SPLL board that have paraded the previous years have first choice for these parade slots. Entry forms will be sent out to these krewes in November and they will have until mid December to declare their intentions to parade. If there are any parade slots open after the middle of December, the SPLL board will send out "New Krewe Request Forms" for new krewes who want to parade in 2006. If you would like a New Krewe Request Form mailed to you in mid-December 2005, please post your address or email on this forum or use the contact page to email the webmaster. New krewes, if any, will be chosen from these returned forms.
