  • The SPLL Annual Meeting will be held this Wednesday, April 13th at 7:00 PM at Avoyelles Café downtown. The meeting is only open to SPLL members who paid their dues ($25) before the Parade or those people interested in joining SPLL, if joining SPLL you must pay your $25 dues at the meeting.

  • The 4th Annual Spanish Town Golf Tournament Entry Form and Rules are now available for download from the Golf Page.

  • The 2005 Spanish Town Parade Award winners:

    • Best Bribe Award - Krewe of Cookie

    • Best Marching Group Award - Krewe of Yazoo

    • Best Port-A-John Award - I-da-ho Potato Queens

    • Best Liberal Bias Award - Krewe of Ministers of Misinformation (MOM)

    • Most Edible Throws Award - Italian American Marchers

    • Most Hospitable Award - Italian American Marchers

    • Worst Float Award - Krewe La Moula

    • Best Float Award - Krewe of Good Times

    • Judges' Choice Award - wASTED kREWE

  • REMINDER: Plan to participate in the 4th Annual Spanish Town Golf Tournament on May 29, 2005 at the Magnolia Creek Country Club in Ethel, LA! You will have a blast AND the proceeds go to The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and Battered Women's Shelter. Entry Forms and Rules will be add soon.
