    • The 2011 Spanish Town Mardi Gras Seating Chart has been updated at 1:45 PM, it can be found on the  Ball Page
    • REMINDER:  The Spanish Town Mardi Gras Royalty Brunch honoring the 2011 Royal Court and all past Kings, Queens and Grand Marshals will be held on Saturday February 5, 2011 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Lyceum Ballroom, 124 Third Street, Baton Rouge, LA.
    • This will include a Champagne Brunch, Music, Cash Bar, Raffles and a Silent Auction. The cost is $25 per person (Limited Seating by advance tickets & reservations only). please RSVP prior to Jan 28. Tables can be reserved with advance purchase of 8 tickets.

    • Attire is Creative Spanish Town Mardi Gras Brunch wear or whatever is left of your Royal Attire.
    • This event is Sponsored by The Spanish Town Ladies' Auxiliary, Inc. but is open to all Krewes, SPLL Members and their guest. Proceeds will go to local Baton Rouge charities.

    • The 2011 Spanish Town Mardi Gras Ball is sold out. No more tickets/tables are available.
    • All Parading Krewes from the 2010 Spanish Town Mardi Gras Parade are assured a spot in the 2011 Parade, if they return their Parade Entry Forms by February 15th.  If you paraded in 2010 and have not received your forms by email, please use the Contact Page here on the website and send an email to the webmaster requesting the forms.
    • The 2011 Spanish Town Mardi Gras Parade will NOT be accepting any new floats or groups.  Only participants in the 2010 Parade will be accepted.

    • The 2011 SPLL Membership List has been updated and can be found on the About/Join SPLL Page under the Information Tab
    • The website was having email issues and the whole site was up and down for maintenance from Wednesday night at around 8:00 PM until Thursday night around 8:00 PM.  All should be working properly now except the Photo section which is currently being worked on.  Sorry for any inconvience this may have caused you.  If you tried contacting us during the outage please try again now.
    • The Photo secetion of the website is now functional again, if you encounter errors please use the Contact Page to let us know.

    • The 6th of January is the night set to paint Flamingos since it is the start of Mardi Gras. Starts at 6-ish at David Applegate's Shop, 1440 Government Street. David has got the plywood ready just need paint and painters, everyone is welcome!
